new hope global
New Hope Global (NHG) is a registered charity founded in 2014 by a group of dedicated community members led by Mohammed Foiz Uddin MBE. We work to empower socially and economically disadvantaged individuals by developing skills, confidence and opportunity, helping people improve their lives and strengthening community cohesion across Black, Asian, minority ethnic and refugee communities in Birmingham and beyond.
NHG delivers grassroots social welfare initiatives that tackle poverty and inequality. We provide support for disadvantaged young people, adults and the elderly facing financial hardship, poor health, lack skills, unemployment, poverty, disconnected with heritage & Culture and environmental awareness. Our programmes support physical and mental wellbeing, education, and participation in sports, arts, culture and heritage activities.
Collaboration is central to our approach. We work closely with charities, community organisations, academic institutions, local businesses and importantly people and communities to ensure individuals can access the support they need. Guided by an experienced Board of Trustees, management committee and a dedicated & passionate team, NHG designs and delivers innovative projects that create lasting, meaningful impact within our communities.
