New Hope Global

New Hope Global was established as a registered charity in 2014, founded by a group of community members
led by Mohammed Foiz Uddin (MBE). The overall aim and objectives of NHG continue to be the enhancement of people’s lives including community cohesion in the ethnic minority communities of
Birmingham and surrounding areas.

Our vision is to build an empowered, inclusive, community-focused and sustainable organisation dedicated to improving the capacity and quality of life of the most disadvantaged and deprived communities.

Our Mission is to deliver change and encourage ethnic minority communities (BME) to address issues of social, health and economic exclusion, poverty, social isolation and ill-health through the provision of high-quality and tailored services that focus on our four key priority areas: Training, Employment & Education, Health, and Mental well-being including Basic Counselling, Arts and Heritage, Community Engagement and Community Cohesion.

New Hope Global is happy to announce that the Chairman Mr Mohammed Foiz Uddin was awarded an MBE by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and was honoured to receive an invitation to attend a reception ceremony for the Commonwealth Diaspora at the Buckingham Palace on 14th of February 2018.

The Queen invited the recipients to a lovely ceremony to show her appreciation for their contribution to the British Civic Society. In addition, Mr Uddin had been privileged to get the opportunity to discuss various community issues with the Prime Minister Rt. Hon Theresa May MP and her husband Mr Philip May, the Foreign Secretary Rt. Hon Boris Johnson MP and with the High Commissioners of various Commonwealth Countries present. Her Majesty, The Queen, Prince Charles, Camilla Parker, Duchess of Cornwall, Duchess of Gloucester were very interested to know about his community activities and his Community Cohesion work in West Midlands. This indeed the most prestigious and memorable day for New Hope Global.
