Distribution of the Covid-19 resource kit
New Hope Global's distribution of the Covid-19 resource kit dispels misconceptions about the disease and its vaccines. New Hope Global has been working for community development in Aston and other areas of Birmingham since its inception. The current pandemic caused by Covid-19 has affected the Bangladeshi and other communities the most. New Hope is educating the community about Covid disease and its vaccines. During the pandemic, New Hope distributed more than 300 food bags to families in the community. On Wednesday 24th February, New Hope organized a stall for distributing Covid-19 information in collaboration with Tesco in Aston, Birmingham. Here, people are encouraged to get vaccinated. Attendees were handed a resource bag containing hand sanitisers, face masks, information booklets on staying healthy and dealing with Covid-19, and stationeries. A health worker from a local health centre was present at the event organized by New Hope. She answered everyone's questions about Covid-19. The stall was managed by New Hope Chairman Mr. Mohammed Foiz Uddin MBE and Office manager Juma Begum.
